Who We Are
Ryan Gound
President
As President and a member of Labconco’s ownership group and Board of Directors, Ryan Gound brings over 15 years of executive leadership spanning public and private sectors. With expertise in strategy, M&A, operations, and business development, Ryan has helped guide Labconco’s trajectory through innovation and thoughtful growth. Prior to joining Labconco, he led healthcare expansion initiatives at SelectQuote and held various leadership roles at AMC Theatres and Grant Thornton. Ryan earned his undergraduate degree in Finance and International Business from St. Louis University and his MBA from Rockhurst University. He resides in Kansas City with his wife and two boys, and while most of his time is spent outside of work with family activities, if time ever allows, he can be found on the golf course.
Cordell Benton
Director of Operations and Government Affairs
With over 30 years of operations leadership and consulting experience across manufacturing environments, Cordell is our Lean and Six Sigma expert. He blends technical insight with strategic thinking to optimize performance. Cordell holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Kennesaw State University and an MBA from Baker University. His growing interest in artificial intelligence and natural language processing demonstrates why he’s the right person to lead our efforts to keep our processes cutting-edge and efficient.
